The no-drama karting checklist
Start with closed-toe shoes. That’s the actual requirement. For everything else, choose clothes you can sit in, steer in, and celebrate in.
- Closed-toe shoes are the non-negotiable part.
- Wear clothes you can move in and feel like yourself in.
- Skip anything loose you would have to keep adjusting.
What not to wear
Sandals, Crocs, and heels all miss the closed-toe requirement. Easy fix: wear the shoes you would trust for a busy afternoon on your feet.
Loose scarves, long drawstrings, jewelry you keep adjusting: if it will make you fuss instead of focus, save it for the post-race photo.
What Nitro provides
Full-face helmets are provided, and headsocks are required. Your only job is to show up ready to listen and race.
If you show up in the wrong shoes
Wrong shoes means no racing, no matter how good the rest of the outfit is. If your shoes are not right for karting, change before your session.
Hair, jewelry, and the little distractions
If you have long hair, pulling it back helps keep your attention on the track. If a necklace or bracelet keeps needing adjustment, leave it somewhere safe.
